Adobe garden addition

MUDLAB designed this addition to add indoor/outdoor living space to an existing one bedroom residence in Marfa. Constructed of steel and adobe, the addition is in keeping with the expressive material palette of the existing buildings. Large windows on the main level connect the living space with the immediate garden surrounding the house, while an upper roof deck provides views of the rolling grasslands to the southeast.
